However, Mr. Guerra's particular proclivity to uniqueness has nothing to do with an indictment, which is handed up by a Grand Jury. Clearly, the Grand Jury decided that the case was worthy of indictment and that is all that matters in any Grand Jury decision. The district attorney's office has no part in it.

With respect to your referencing the NY Times, however, their credibility has long since evaporated as it is no longer the paper of record it once claimed to be. Their bias, combined with poor to unacceptable reporting standards, employing writers who either fabricate or plagiarize and exhibit few professional standards, have rendered it less credibility than the National Enquirer, who has rarely been successfully sued.truthisgoldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07558443951377647831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5323108943391775470.post-14207760892483238562008-11-23T20:18:00.000-05:002008-11-23T20:18:00.000-05:00This is a joke lawsuit filed by a clown- from the ...This is a joke lawsuit filed by a clown- from the times:

Mr. Guerra was under indictment on charges of theft and tampering with records for more than a year and a half, until a judge dismissed them last month. During that time, Mr. Guerra, a Democrat who has been in office 12 years, lost a re-election bid. He leaves office on Dec. 31.

He also has been acting rather oddly since his arrest in March 2007. At one point, he camped outside the county jail in a trailer with a horse, three goats and a rooster, daring the sheriff to arrest him. Convinced that local law enforcement officers had aided the investigation against him, he threatened to dismiss hundreds of criminal cases in retaliation.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/20/us/20texas.html

THIS is why no one takes this lawsuit seriously. The man is mentally ill!Kahleekahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02216088149551087022noreply@blogger.com
