It's All About The Dame Truth

Hoping you'll all be joining us for tonight's edition of The Dame Truth at 8 EST to speak The Dame Truth and help it survive main stream media. Tonight will feature a news wrap and discussion and recognition of one of our intrepid researchers, Nancy Armstrongt, who graced the Glenn Beck show this evening! She was there from the beginning, on May 31, 2008 and traveled the country throughout the election cycle including the Denver Debacle, as the 2008 Democratic Convention is now called.

And so the Beat goes on. A highly agitated message from what appeared to be an Obamabot was not posted here, as we will not entertain uncivil commentary, but it is interesting to note that the objection was lodged against the "Just When You Thought You'd Heard It All" piece which exposed some of the less than stellar intellectual abilities of Obama appointees. The poster was adamant that we utilize factcheck.com, the known leftist propaganda machine "information" site to debunk the content but was obviously completely unaware of the ties that site has to the Obama political machine.

Among the issues covered tonight will be The Dame Truth about Investigator General Gerald Walpin, who was fired Wednesday, contrary to Congress rules requiring presidential firings to give congress 30 days notice and a clear reason for the firing. Walpin was doing his job and in the course of his investigation, learned that Obama chum Kevin Johnson of NBA fame was misusing funds and having Americorp workers wash his car and run errands. The White House told him to resign or be fired and he refused, only to be fired without cause. The letter dismissing his stated that Obama had "lost faith in him." He appeared on FOX's Glenn Beck tonight as Beck, with his usual aplomb, reminded mainstream media to try something new: do their job.

Honor Our Flag...and Fire Letterman!

Resolved, that the Flag of the thirteen United States shall be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the Union be thirteen stars, white on a blue field, representing a new constellation. June 14, 1777, Journals of the Continental Congress.Since 1916, when President Woodrow Wilson issued a presidential proclamation establishing a national Flag Day on June 14, Americans have commemorated the adoption of the Stars and Stripes by celebrating June 14 as Flag Day. Prior to 1916, many localities and a few states had already been celebrating the day. Congressional legislation designating that date as the national Flag Day was signed into law by President Harry Truman in 1949 and called upon the president to issue a flag day proclamation every year.

So fly those flags high, everyone, and remember from whence they came, and what they stand for, lest we forgot as the onslaught of outrage continues. People have died for this flag, and continue to do so nearly every day.

This flag has come to symbolize more than a sovreignty, a Constitution, a Bill of Rights, or a Republic, although it does stand for all those things. It has also come to be a symbol that espouses human rights and eschews fascism, socialism and communism. Hello Greta, Sean and Rush!

You have been asking the above question repeatedly since David Letterman maligned Sarah Palin (again) and her daughter(s) this week. The National Organization for Women IS INSOLVENT, according to a highly placed insider. You are missing a trend that has been taking place beneath the surface of American politics since the Democrat primary ended last year; yet you are all aware of the circumstances that led up to it. BECAUSE OF THEIR FAILURE TO SUPPORT ALL WOMEN, N.O.W. AND OTHERS LIKE IT ARE ALL BUT DEFUNCT!

Scores of women have abandoned NOW, canceled subscriptions to Ms. Magazine, and stopped contributing to NARAL due to these groups' collective failure to vigorously support Hillary Clinton during the primary – including not standing up to Barack Obama's campaign team and supporters – in spite of the race baiting and thuggery that went on against mostly female supporters in the trenches. Some of these organizations jumped ship and gratuitously endorsed Barack Obama while Hillary Clinton was still in the race: they will never recover from those actions. The unintended consequences go beyond the country's decent into socialism and will impact the far left in ways foreseen and unforeseen.

The old-guard women's groups you mention daily are gone. Like you, many moderates and independents now believe the women's groups have strayed from their stated mission of supporting women in the workplace, in their access to healthcare, in politics, and in society in general – and have veered toward the useless and redundant purpose of supporting all far-left liberals, regardless of gender, in every conceivable realm.

Moderate women and men alike have also left the Democrat party in droves, never to return. Calling themselves PUMAS, independents, unaffiliated or even newly conservative, this group voted for John McCain after Hillary was given that final heave-ho by Nancy Pelosi during the fake roll call at the sham primary in Denver last August. These voters have been just as disgusted, frustrated, and upset over the way Sarah Palin and her children were treated during the general election as they were at the manner in which Hillary was treated.

THE QUESTIONS MEDIA FOLKS SHOULD BE ASKING TODAY REGARDING THE DEFENSE OF WOMEN LIKE SARAH PALIN ARE THESE: WHERE HAVE THE MEMBERS OF, SUBSCRIBERS TO, SUPPORTERS FOR, AND CONTRIBUTORS TO THE MENTIONED ORGANIZATIONS GONE? WHY DID THEY LEAVE? WHAT ORGANIZATIONS ARE REPLACING THEM, IF ANY? WILL THE OLD GROUPS SOON BE RELEGATED TO HISTORY AS FAILURES IN THEIR STATED MISSION OF SUPPORTING ALL WOMEN?

Sean, contrary to an oft-repeated example cited in your coverage of the Letterman-Palin conflict, Hillary Clinton and others not on the Obama bandwagon were and are still constantly put through the ringer by the far-left. The Obama Democrats have attacked all but the most radical-leaning women and men in a manner that would never have happened within the Democrat party prior to the Obama Phenomena. The contributing factors to this include the tone of his campaign(s); the fact that he is a mixed-race black-appearing presumably naturalized Kenyan American of Arab descent and Islamic upbringing; and the makeup of his supporters consisting of a combination of socialist-leaning young thugs and low-information racists and, alternatively, "politically correct" and/or secular bigots. (You showed clips of some of these types recently, for example, when you covered Eric Holder's failure to prosecute Black Panthers with billy clubs at a voting booth in Pennsylvania who were there to intimidate John McCain's supporters.)

We all know that Sarah Palin has been and continues to be treated badly by the far left. Yet there is evidence that moderate women and their supporters have also suffered at the hands of their former party allies. Countless YouTube videos depict the sexism, mockery, and slandering of Hillary Clinton throughout the primary. There are also numerous testimonies of the brutality inflicted upon her supporters. This includes examples of women and the elderly being shoved, mocked and bullied at the Democrat-run caucuses. One filmmaker, Gigi Gaston, has compiled interviews into an as yet-to-be rolled-out documentary entitled, We Will Not be Silenced; Hillary's own campaign filed a lawsuit – now buried – against the Obama campaign alleging the mistreatment at caucuses as well as fraud. There is also evidence that moderate female supporters of both Hillary and Sarah Palin were bullied and intimidated online: the hacking of emails, the posting of private information and the sabotaging of blogs are just some examples of what women have dealt with who are not part of the far-left agenda. They, too, pleaded for support from NOW and others to no avail; today, they just applaud its imminent demise.

In conclusion, feminists in the traditional sense are no longer; the voices supporting women today are mostly conservative women seen on Fox News. They have taken up the mantle for women – and this will help Republicans in 2010 and 2012 if the media make folks aware of the trend.

Well, it's happened again. Yet another report of a crazed person opening fire in a public place, this time the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. There are no words to adequately express the depth of distress things like this bring with them...the wasted lives, the tortured past of a mind and a life gone wrong somewhere along the path, all for reasons unknown. Of course, media, as usual, was in Reporting Mode, covering it over and over nonstop to the exclusion of all other news from the time it came over the wire, and repeatedly reminding anyone who would listen that James Von Brunn, the aging shooter, was a Veteran, even referring every few minutes to DHS's odious punch list of last month warning everyone to be on the lookout for crazed Veterans. The truth is: everybody takes aspirin and everybody dies. Does this mean that aspirin will kill you? No, not unless you decide to swallow the entire bottle at once. So, just why is it that this administration, DHS and media have taken up the gauntlet for open season on Vets? Is it their bravery, patriotism, commitment, or love of country? Is it their combat skill? What??

Also today, Reverend Wright--you remember him, Obama's pastor and spiritual advisor for 17 years--stated in an interview that, "Those Jews won't let me talk to him until he's a lame duck..."

Yes, anti semitism is on the rise throughout the world, with the help of people like Hamas, Jihadists, Black Separatists and lunatic white supremicists, which have always been around, but until recently, had no help from other sectors. It is now more important than ever that we who care about The Right Thing come together and support Israel, support our Constitution, our Country, and our Military, and, as the Danes did so long ago at the Gates of Vienna, keep the enemy at bay. And yet...these days it is a very narrow path between being humanly compassionate and empathetically foolish. As much as I can read the words of Thich Nhat Hanh with admiration and respect, so must I draw the line at treating a murderous terrorist as an American, and according him Geneva Convention rights when he wears no uniform, fights for no flag, and observes no rules. During his raucous and giggly 60 Minutes interview some months back, Mr. SoetorObama stated, "Of COURSE I don't believe in Mirandizing the enemy" as he chortled happily away. But today that, too, was thrown under the bus and our military is now instructed to Mirandize every enemy they take into custody. Today, not just Michael Behenna and Evan Veles, but many other brave, patriotic Americans sit in prisons for doing their job: for fighting the enemy, for doing heroic deeds which would have earned them medals and commendations in Vietnam, Korea and WW II. [Note: General Townsend received Michael's packet today and I urge all to send prayers his way in the hope that Michael will receive either a pardon or a fair trial that includes testimony from the state paid pathologist that exonerates him, and please go to http://defendmichael.com to learn about the case and donate to help pay for his legal fees].

It is all too much for the mind to manage these days, and so I remind us all of the Eastern adage that states that "there is room in the heart for all that the mind cannot handle."

For Those Who Thought They'd Seen It All...

Okay, this, unfortunately, tops today's stories, simply because it is both sad commentary and profound illustration of the direction our country has taken at the hands of the utter and absolute chain of fools that have seized power.Yes, it is true. All those "Czars" you've been hearing about: they're real. And real stupid too. This from a friend:

This story is from a Ford Engineer who reports on the type people the Obama Administration is sending to the Auto Industry. I think when you read the story below you will understand that the Obama Administration is full of Uneducated people. Anyone in their right mind would understand the statements made. Yet these people probably voted and, worse yet, one can only surmise for whom they voted.

I recently attended a breakfast meeting where the speaker/guest was David E. Cole, Chairman, Center for Automotive Research (CAR). You have all likely
heard Cole CAR quoted, or referred to in the auto industry news lately.

Mr. Cole, who is an engineer by training, told many stories of the difficulty of working with the folks that the Obama administration has sent to save the auto industry. There have been many meetings where a 30+ year experience automotive expert has to listen to a newcomer to the industry, someone with zero manufacturing experience, zero auto industry experience, zero business experience, zero finance experience, and zero engineering experience, tell them how to run their business.

His favorite story is as follows:

There was a team of Obama people speaking to Mr. Cole (Engineer, automotive experience 40+ years, Chairman of CAR). They were explaining to Mr. Cole that the auto companies needed to make a car that was electric and liquid natural gas (LNG) with enough combined fuel to go 500 miles so we wouldn't "need" so many gas stations (A whole other topic). They were quoting BTU's
of LNG and battery life that they had looked up on some website.

Mr. Cole explained that to do this you would need a trunk FULL of batteries and a LNG tank as big as a car to make that happen and that there were problems related to the laws of physics that prevented them from...
At this point, the Obama person interrupted and said (and I am quoting verbatim here)

"The laws of physics? Whose rules are those, we need to change that."

[As this government schmuck expounded on the topic, some of his cohorts frantically wrote down the “law name” so they could look it up] The Obama person continued:

“We have the congress and the administration. We can repeal that law, amend it, or use an executive order to get rid of that problem. That's why we are here, to fix these sort of issues."

This, folks, is NOT an exaggeration. Recently there was an article about yet another one of this administration's new "appointees", who had ZERO, repeat: ABSOLUTELY ZERO experience in the field he was being charged to oversee.

And there you have it. Pure, unadulterated idiocy, straight from the Top. Lord help us all.

D-Day Plus 65 Years

Today marks the 65th Anniversary of D-Day, the full scale invasion of allied forces that precipitated the liberation of France and hastened the end of World War II in Europe. Although the ranks of surviving veterans of that incredible invasion thin daily, there are still many, now octogenarians, who gather in commemoration of this day. Their memories of that day and of their comrades will never fade, even after half a century, and our observation and honoring of that day and those heroes remain as tribute to their power of example. Although the words, "Uncommon valor was a common virtue" were said by Admiral Chester Nimitz of Iwo Jima, they apply equally to D-Day, and in fact, all of those brave Americans in combat zones in service of this Republic. These soldiers, marines, sailors and airmen can never be repaid the debt we owe them for their service and for the example they have shown us. Bless them all, living and dead, and protect our troops now engaged in present day combat zones.

It is with conflict that I bring another topic to this page, as I am reluctant to allow the topic below to share space with the topic above, but I feel that it is more incumbent than ever to expose and highlight the sad contrast between those heroes of D-Day and what passes for 21st century executive power. Seized in direct violation of our Constitution's Eligibility Clause, aided and abetted by main stream media's complicity in news suppression, the individual now residing in the same White House as Franklin Delano Roosevelt as he led America through the Second World War is most probably not only an illegal alien, but now an admitted Muslim. Not that there's anything wrong with that...except his refusal to be forthcoming, transparent and abide by the laws of our land and our Constitution, his Taqiyya practice [Taqiyya, or not showing their faith openly by means of pretense, dissimulation, or concealment, is a special type of LYING which is taught and used by Shi'a Muslims, cf. Sunni Muslims and Taqiyya. "Taqiyya" (or taqiyyah) is related to the terms "taqwa'" and "taqi'" - all have the root meaning of "guarding" something, in this case, the Islamic faith] and, of course, complete refusal to share ANY of his life's records would indicate that this is simply NOT the kind of individual who merits respect from a country that has produced a Declaration of Independence, Constitution and D-Day heroes.

It is disturbing indeed, and difficult if not impossible to reconcile two such greatly disparate concepts: being willing to die for one's country as opposed to lying for one's personal agenda.

It boggles the mind, and so I leave you today, D-Day's 65th Anniversary, with some salient words from our wise Logistics Monster, entitled [from the film "Full Metal Jacket"]. "Heads and A$$e$ Wired Together":

Can someone tell Barack Obama that Jeruselam is not ours to give to the Palestinians; that we are at war with islamic jihadist muslims; that the Federal Reserve and the Treasury do not get to make policy; that we SHOULD NOT be apologizing for being Americans; that the POTUS is just that, and not a "citizen of the world"; that Barack Obama does not get to decide which religions get along; that the entities that contribute the most to campaigns do not get to decide which laws get passed; that Latina, or ANY OTHER RACISTS should not be anywhere near positions of power; that We The People have common sense, unlike our non-representative representatives. We are TIRED of these INSANE JUXTIPOSITIONS that this government is involved in.

What else can be said, except Thank you, D-Day heroes, Thank you, American Military [and 2/8 now in Afghanistan], and thank you Logistics Monster, for always coming up with Just The Right Words. Under the Covers: Has The World Gone MAD??

As we continue to be buried under a daily avalanche of outrage, insanity, lawlessness, stupidity and terror, it is important to remember a few things:

1) We must square our collective shoulders, come out from under the covers, [AND the avalanche from hell], man up and look the truth squarely in the eye as we expose it and make it viral;

2) As we continue to do this, we must remember, as Mad Magazine's inimitable Don Martin, to find humor in everything we can. [A big thanks to Mad and Mr. Martin for making our world a funnier place].

This is not to say that the things we hear are laughable. On the contrary, they are most often blood curdlingly [is that even a WORD?!] grim, as can be seen below in just a small sampling of snippets from today's Worst, or, as our Logistics Monster so sagely puts it, the "A.Y.F.K.M. Awards."

1. NRA Appeals Seventh Circuit Ruling to the U.S. Supreme Court

Fairfax, Va. - Today, the National Rifle Association filed a petition for certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court in the case of NRA v. Chicago. The NRA strongly disagrees with yesterday's decision issued by a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, holding that the Second Amendment does not apply to state and local governments.

2. Cover-up: CBS bans eligibility billboards

WASHINGTON – The company touting itself as the "world's largest out-of-home media" enterprise has banned WND's national billboard campaign that asks one simple question: "Where's the birth certificate?" CBS Outdoor, a division of CBS Corp. that sells more outdoor advertising than any other billboard company in North America, refuses to accept purchases of space on any of its 550,000 displays nationwide, media buyers for WND report. 3. White House 'dialogue' site scrubbed of eligibility posts
Many Obama birth certificate queries yanked from 'transparency' debate. This one is to die for: World Net Daily's Chelsea Schilling reports that the site the White House put up recently, claiming it wanted input from Americans [what a novel idea!] has scrubbed over 200 threads asking about eligibility issues.
With more than 200 individual threads and thousands of comments on the eligibility issue alone, moderators of the White House website on "open government dialogue" have been working tirelessly to edit the dialogue about Barack Obama's elusive "long-form" birth certificate.
Many of the top-rated threads are from citizens calling on Obama to release his birth certificate. The postings in the "top rated" category have received the most "looks promising" votes from users. New threads on the topic of Obama's constitutional eligibility to serve as president are appearing by the minute.
WND observed the "Making Data More Accessible" section for several hours as more suggestions appeared and at least 60 were subsequently deleted on the first page alone – all requests for the president to submit proof of citizenship.
One deleted post echoed many others in asking President Obama to "Prove that you are a U.S. citizen and valid president."
The post asks why Obama doesn't simply release his "real birth certificate and end all of this controversy."
"Are you a fraud?" it asks. "Is your election to the highest office in the land the largest scam ever pulled on the American people? Are you really not eligible for office? End the speculation and prove who you are."
Let Obama and everyone else know you care about the Constitution. Take part in the WND's "Where's the Birth Certificate?" billboard campaign!
Another removed thread titled, "Where is the Obama legal documentation to prove who he actually is?" asked the president to provide the following documents: original, vault copy birth certificate, records of attorney fees, marriage and divorce records for Obama's parents, passport, adoption records, school records and various other documents.
One displeased user who had his post deleted wrote, "I posted a comment about the lack of transparency in President Obama's administration and history, and down it came in minutes. So much for a open dialogue or, for that matter, freedom of speech."
Another man suggested U.S. citizens consider a class-action lawsuit against President Obama until he surrenders his documents. His post stated, in part:

Dear President, If only you would show us your long form birth certificate that shows location (hospital) of birth as well as attending physician info. Be it duly noted that We the People of this constitutional republic do hereby note many of the abuses of power that you and your administration's representatives are currently engaged in. We the People do hereby
certify that we are considering all legal options available to restrict your audacity to run roughshod over the Constitution, abuse of power and office, as well as spending too much friggin' money when we are, as a nation, broke..."
His post was subsequently deleted. "Who would have thought that even contemplating such action would be required against a sitting president and administration? A class-action approach may be the only viable way to force reporting in the mainstream press," he told WND.
Meanwhile, a thread titled "Contact the media to get it out in the open that the 'birthers' are a racist terrorist organization practicing electronic espionage" remained in place for much of the day while messages from the so-called "birthers" were removed. It has now been flagged. A link for providing news tips to CNN accompanied the message.

4. A California pastor and his wife were required by San Diego County officials to obtain a permit to hold a Bible study in their home.
"What?! Is this a joke?" I wondered as I heard the news for the first time. It was no joke. Rather, it's a First Amendment nightmare and possibly a foreshadowing of what's to come.
Are you prepared for a future in which you hear, "Got your permit to study the Bible?"
On April 10 (Good Friday), a county code enforcement officer visited the home of David and Mary Jones after receiving a complaint about their Christian gatherings. The Jones' attorney, Dean Broyles, president of The Western Center for Law & Policy, conveyed in disbelief, "The county asked (Mrs. Jones), 'Do you have a regular meeting in your home?' She said, 'Yes.' 'Do you say "amen"?' 'Yes.' 'Do you pray?' 'Yes.' 'Do you say "praise the Lord"?' 'Yes.'"
The officer then warned the family to "cease and desist" the "religious gathering" or they would face weekly fines. A few days later, the county delivered a citation claiming that the Joneses were guilty of "unlawful use of land" and mandating them to "stop religious assembly or apply for a major use permit."
At first, I thought, "They must have a large congregation meeting in their home to warrant this type of citation and prompt this type of commotion, right?" Actually, according to their lawyer, the Joneses have been hosting weekly Bible studies in their home for about five years, with an average attendance of only about 15 people.
Broyles appropriately responded, "If the county thinks they can shut down groups of 10 or 15 Christians meeting in a home, what about people who meet regularly at home for poker night? What about people who meet for Tupperware parties? What about people who are meeting to watch baseball games on a regular basis and support the Chargers?"

Well, this past weekend, barraged by hundreds of complaints after WorldNetDaily broke the news to the international community, San Diego County officials informed the world that they'd backed down from requiring the Joneses to obtain a permit. Despite their retraction (based solely upon public pressure, I might add), however, I am appalled at how far the county's enforcement and encroachment crossed the constitutional line and became a flagrant disregard for Americans' right to exercise their religious faiths. And I'm concerned that we will see far more of these overreaching governmental actions in years to come.
As Mary Jones shared with Fox News: "The implications are great because it's not only us that's involved. There are thousands and thousands of Bible studies that are held all across the country. 5. 'Obama met Muslim Brotherhood members in U.S.'

U.S. President Barack Obama met with members of Egypt's Islamist opposition movement, the Muslim Brotherhood, earlier this year, according to a report in Thursday editions of the Egyptian daily newspaper Almasry Alyoum. The newspaper reported that Obama met the group's members, who reside in the U.S. and Europe, in Washington two months ago.
According to the report, the members requested that news of the meeting not be publicized. They expressed to Obama their support for democracy and the war on terror.
The newspaper also reported that the members communicated to Obama their position that the Muslim Brotherhood would abide by all agreements Egypt has signed with foreign countries.
Obama landed in Cairo on Thursday to deliver a conciliatory speech as part of his outreach to the Arab and Muslim world. The Muslim Brotherhood is considered a Sunni-dominated fundamentalist Islamic organization that has spawned numerous factions across the Arab world that have engaged in terrorist activity, including the Palestinian rejectionist group Hamas.
It is also the main opposition bloc to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, whose regime is viewed favorably in the West due to its adherence to the thirty-year-old peace treaty between Israel and Egypt.

policemen, PA security sources said on Wednesday. The woman, Amal, is the wife of Abdel Nasser al-Basha, the owner of the house where the two Hamas men, Muhammad Samman and Muhammad Yassin, had been hiding.

OKAY. Now, let me get this straight: THESE are the people Mr. Obama, with HR 1388, is giving that $20 Million to travel to and settle in the US??

Guess who Obama thinks should have 9/11 immunity

The Obama administration has petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court [go here] to protect Saudi Arabia and four of its princes from being held accountable for their alleged role in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack on the United States that killed almost 3,000 Americans. One has to ask oneself: 1) WHY? and
2) Why am I NOT surprised? At first I was reluctant to open this old wound but then I realized that it has never closed and never will, and that is probably a good thing. Like Eisenhower's directive to take pictures of Germany's death camps upon their liberation lest the world disbelieve or forget what happened there [Ahmedinejad excepted], so must we see pictures and follow all news pertaining to 911, lest we become complacent or minimize its enormity.

As deep concerns about the individual in the White House continues to spread, it is things like this that add fuel to the fire and wind to fan it. Among other things, a letter to the White House resident from Lou Pritchett, speaker and corporate consultant, formerly with Proctor & Gamble gives credence to the fact that the concerns are myriad, serious, and shared by many.

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA
Dear President Obama:
You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.
You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you..
You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.
You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.
You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.
You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core.
You scare me because you lack humility and 'class,' always blaming others.
You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.

You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations.
You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.
You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.
You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.
You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.
You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view..
You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.
Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Add to this a cooling attitude toward long time ally Israel and his plan for a speech to the Muslim world on Israeli Independence Day and it simply does not look good. Not for America, not for the World, not for anyone. Except, perhaps, Himself. First, Last and Always. It would not surprise me if the Handlers that installed him were having second, third and even fourth thoughts right about now, as Americans are being poured into some of Afghanistan's cruelest and most inhospitable terrain [both Nature and the Taliban seem to have teamed up here], and Camp Leatherneck, with the largest combat zone parking lot for air vehicles in the world is being built in Helmand Province. Even Tom Rall, Miami's loyal Liberal, has called for the resignation of this guy...it's got to give one pause for thought...doesn't it?

Connor, USMC, 1/12, Whiskey Company, who served in and around Chu Lai and DaNang '65-'66. He passed from this world as a result of his service there, from agent orange complications, many years after returning home. RIP Connor, and all our brave heroes who gave their lives for our country. You performed your duty as a radioman proudly and well.

The Pope's on Facebook and All Is Well. The Pope's new account, entitled "Pope2You, " shares the marketing ring of names like ToysRus, and invokes the concept of an all inclusive, direct line to the head of the church. Even the Imams are getting on board, having recently decided that their flocks may use Facebook, but only for contact with work and friends--no gossip or flirting allowed.

Meanwhile, the Boys From Brazil are back in the form of a new generation of race "purists," 14 of which, according to the Jerusalem Post, were recently arrested for an alleged neo nazi plot to bomb two synagogues in Southern Brazil's Porto Alegre.

Today's coup de grace, however, underlining all of these surrealities, [there's *THAT* word again] is Joseph Farah's World Net Daily report on the Billboard Movement that's sweeping the country which he has named "The Truth and Transparency Campaign." Within 48 hours of the request for donations, a billboard owner contributed his space to add to the fast growing campaign to erect billboards requesting proof of Obama's citizenship and eligibility to serve as POTUS across the country.

As WND's billboard campaign to raise visibility of the issues surrounding Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility yesterday continued to attract eager donors, the president had this to say:

"I will never hide the truth because it is uncomfortable." [SayWHATT??]

[Like myself, and any other reasonable person], Joseph Farah, WND's editor and chief executive officer, reacted to Obama's statement in stunned amazement.

"This is a guy who has no trouble turning over sensitive documents from previous administrations, but he still refuses to release for public view something seemingly so innocuous as his own birth certificate...This is a double-standard wide enough to sail the Queen Mary 2 through. Statements like this need to be challenged by a vibrant and free press. And that's what our 'Where's the birth certificate?' billboard campaign is all about."

More than $35,000 has been raised in the first 72 hours of the national billboard campaign – and the first sign, an electronic one, is already up and online. Welcome to the Rabbit Hole: "Official" Versus "Actual"

I offer a compendium of topics, related only by their surreal qualities. Either that, or that 3 hours of gardening today pumped out so much serotonin that I cannot be held responsible for what The Mind On Serotonin does.

In New York it's 4:37 PM, a soft and sunny 75; it's 1:57 AM in Kandahar, Afghanistan, 70 F, and I just finished reading the newswire about Marjah, where American forces have seized 16 tons of opiates, 45 tons of explosive making material and a large supply of heroin refining product. Not far from there, in the Desert of Death, so named by locals for its less than hospitable conditions, the USMC is building a 443 acre Camp Leatherneck, started in January, which will house the largest combat zone parking field [that's for air craft, not cars] in the world, so it looks like we're there to stay awhile.

Sadly, John Brown, Jr., one of the original 29 Navajo Code Talkers who developed a communication code the Japanese were unable to break passed from this world yesterday at the age of 88. Their contribution to our success in WWII was monumental and was not declassified until 1968. The 29 received the Congressional Gold Medal in 2001. As we near Memorial Day, it is ever more important to remember that although the "official" day of remembrance was changed so that it could always be on a Monday, thereby affording Americans another annual three day weekend, the actual Memorial Day falls on May 30.

On other fronts, California is still broke, Nancy Pelosi is still a liar, and Joe Biden is still as senseless as a goat. In New York four people were arrested today on charges of plotting to shoot military aircraft at Stewart Airfield with Stingers, blow up two Synagoges in the Bronx, and generally create havoc and terrorism wherever they could find it. It is said that three of them converted to Islam while serving time in American jails...and the BOzo in the White House wants to bring Gitmo guys here??

A friend who spent time in a locked mental ward recently told me he had been watching a Lakers game on the TV there when the cameras showed some footage of Jack Nicholson, an avid fan, in the stands. He couldn't help being reminded of watching Nicholson years ago in a theater in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" wherein Jack unwittingly becomes trapped in a locked mental ward. Yes indeed, welcome to the Rabbit Hole, where life imitates art, the insane seems sane and the surreal unfolds, all day, every day.

As some of you may know, the June 13 rally for veterans had to be cancelled when its backers suddenly withdrew, citing fear of "the current political climate."

This is sad commentary on our country, its government and the private sector it appears to hold on a very short leash. Anyone who would withdraw funds previously offered to veterans out of fear of repercussion from the current administration is clearly in as sorry a state as the administration itself.

I'm purposely leaving the Scoundrel Time post up for several days, as I want to make sure as many people as possible see it. Monday it will be replaced by show notification for The Dame Truth that night, as I welcome Chris Hill to talk about what happened with the backers who pulled out of that Gathering of Eagles rally.

We need to look long and hard at a government who is willing to exercise even the hint of reprisal toward anyone who supports our Military. For this to occur in our country is a dishonor to everyone who has sacrificed their time, their health or their lives to protect our Constitution and its Bill of Rights. Oh and by the way, take a look at Lillian Hellman's Scoundrel Time. It'll chill your blood. Either that or heat it up so fast that steam starts coming from your ears. Either way, it's sobering.

I received notice this morning from Chris Hill, Director of Operations for Gathering of Eagles that the Victory in Iraq Rally scheduled for 13 June in D.C. had been cancelled:

It is with a heavy heart and more than a little anger that I must tell
you all that the VI Rally scheduled for 13 June in D.C. has been
cancelled. Our sponsors pulled out a couple weeks ago and though we
tried mightily to get others we have come up dry. It appears that the
money guys on our side of the argument are running scared from the
current political climate. The Park Service is going to pull our
permits for lack of resources; simply put, no portalets or EMT services means no rally. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes, but there's is simply nothing we can do.

We had commitments from Capt. Phillips of the Somali pirates event,
Marcus Luttrell USN SEAL (Lone Survivor), former Congressman Duncan
Hunter, Pat Dollard, various Blue and Gold Star family members, three
separate musical acts, a potential video up link to Iraq, the 9/11
chopper, dragsters painted to represent the different services and an
after party at the Hard Rock Cafe. Unfortunately, the hard work
expended to put this together, by a number of people will now be for
naught. Please don't let this discourage your efforts. It is all the
more important that we redouble our efforts concerning our heroes in
the desert. I hope you all understand how difficult it is for me to
send this message. Thank you for all your efforts.

Having made plans to cover it live onsite on The Dame Truth and with my partner and cohost drkate on Constitutional Radio, I was more than a little distressed to learn of this turn of events. Once again, it seems our Military is getting shorted on everything but combat time. I put a call in to Chris to learn more, and to confirm a guest spot on Monday's Dame and we got to talking about the kind of political climate in which any and every entity and individual must calculate their actions and retract offers of good works out of fear from government repercussion.

To begin with, let me make this crystal clear: these backers contacted Gathering of Eagles to offer financial assistance toward producing the June 13 rally. It was their intention to support our troops via the rally until they became aware that doing so could bode ill for them in the current political climate. Of course, my immediate response was, "Who Are These People?!" [ I wanted to organize a boycott of whatever corporate interests they represented]. However, it appears that they were private individuals, at least for the moment. Here is where it gets dicey: how DOES one go about seeking to right a wrong without making the situation worse? I have not yet been able to satisfactorily answer that question in this case but suffice to say, it niggles at me and I will NOT let it go until I have done all that I can to get to the bottom of it and shed the light of truth upon it.

So. These backers approached Gathering of Eagles. The Chairman flew down to meet with them and they asked him what he needed. Chris laid out the program for them and was effectively given a carte blanche until a short time ago, when they informed him that the funding would be withdrawn. Aside from that terse message, they had no more communication with GOE, refusing to answer emails and phone calls. And so, I'm wondering just WHAT they're afraid of. I mean, aside from the fact that

1) Yesterday the Administration said they' d seek to minimize benefits to corporate CEOs regardles of whether they received TARP benefits or not; and

2) I hear the word from Justice is that there's been some niggling in administration over nationalizing oil industry...

So, there we have it...for the moment. Oilmen are feeling antsy about being targeted by the Administration to the extent that they would pull funding for a rally for the troops. And this administration has the temerity to pose as a Constitutional entity??

Round Up the Usual Suspects: Talk Rado...AGAIN??

Camille Paglia's Salon.com piece today questions whether "The assassination jokes and "liberal" conspiracy theories on talk radio could be an ominous sign of things to come," invoking names like Knebel, Serling and Frankenheimer, [Seven Days in May , one of whose characters, General James Scott, says,

And if you want to talk about your oath of office, I'm here to tell you face to face, President Lyman, that you violated that oath when you stripped this country of its muscles - when you deliberately played upon the fear and fatigue of the people and told them they could remove that fear by the stroke of a pen. And then when this nation rejected you, lost faith in you, and began militantly to oppose you, you violated that oath by not resigning from office and turning the country over to someone who could represent the people of the United States],

Feherty, Limbaugh, and Sykes, and studiously avoiding names like Obama, Soetoro and Conyers with regard to her fears for our nation, suggesting that talk radio is undermining the authority and dignity of the presidency.

My answer to that is it is NOT talk radio that is undermining the authority and dignity of the presidency. That job has already been fullfilled, and then some, by the current residents of the White House with their grotesquely lavish slap-in-the-face-of-the-American-people-who-are-losing-everything parties, wantonly terrorizing New Yorkers with a dangerous, disrespectful, expensive and unnecessary flyover of lower Manhattan, bowing to a Saudi prince, insulting long time British allies, insisting that all references to Jesus be removed FROM A GEORGETOWN CHAPEL, laughing at inane, obscene comics like Wanda Sykes, passing bill after nefarious bill under cover of darkness, including but not limited to $20 Million for room, board and passage of Hamas to America, cooling toward Israel, and, in general, acting like the pathetically stupid, garish clowns that they are.

Oh, and did I mention the issue of refusing to provide ANY records of birth, education, work product, writing or otherwise usually freely offered by public officials to the American public?

Then, too there's that ACORN/White House Census thing, formerly a legislative purview, now commandeered by partisan thugs...

And, lest we forget under the tutelage of main stream media's constant stream of Kool Aid, there's that pesky list of criminal associations from Chicago and abroad, a Usurper's wife who asserts that she has never been proud of America, and a Usurper who refuses to participate in National Prayer Day...
As usual, THAT'S just the tip of the befouled iceberg that continues to glide over our country from DC and parts unknown.

DIGNITY??? AUTHORITY??? That ship sailed long ago, and whatever was left of its wake was promptly torpedoed by that gaggle of goons who have now seized Washington.

[Glenn] Beck has located the Acorn Cookie Jar but will he manage to discover exactly who has their greedy, grubby little hands in it?

Rep. John Conyers (D-Michigan) has killed a proposed Congressional probe into the alleged misdeeds of Acorn. He released the following statement: "Based on my review of the information regarding the complaints against ACORN, I have concluded that a hearing on this matter appears unwarranted at this time."

WTF?! The American Spectator's piece on Mr. Conyers's sudden change of heart cannot help but give rise to the question, "Why that sudden change of heart, Mr. Conyers?" Conyers had previously expressed enthusiasm for holding an ACORN hearing mere weeks ago on March 19 after hearing the testimony of GOP lawyer Heather Heidelbaugh about ACORN's many misdeeds, stating that the allegations were "a pretty serious matter." Two weeks later Conyers reiterated his support for an ACORN probe, telling the Washington Times he still wanted to do it and he "probably will." Conyers, whom the article called an "unlikely champion" for ACORN opponents, rejected arguments from fellow Democrats that his committee should steer clear of the issue. Then, suddenly, he feels a hearing is "unwarranted??"

It does give cause for pause, does it not? The beat goes on, and somehow one cannot help but feel it's all connected...in some dark, down and dirty way...

Rock on all, and keep the faith, as hard as it may seem sometimes. Remember, evil can't survive in the light!

VE Day, 64 Years Hence

Sixty Four years ago today, the War in Europe ended on May 8, 1945. My father and his crew had already flown their last mission over Germany and they prepared to fly their planes back to the States on their way to the Pacific. They refused to fly the first four planes they were assigned. None were sufficiently flight worthy to make the trip back, via Greenland. They made it home in the 5th one, landed in Bangor, Maine and waited on the West Coast for their orders to the Pacific.

Earlier that year in February, the Big Three Allied powers met at Yalta to decide the fate of post war Europe. Among the things they discussed were:

The dividing up of Germany
The formation of the United Nations
German war reparations
The entry of Soviet forces into the Far-Eastern front (Japan)
The final, and most difficult issue, the future of Poland

Thus were the seeds of the Cold War sown. George S. Patton, brilliant General and Enfant Terrible of the European ground theater, was killed not long thereafter in occupied Germany, Franklin Delano Roosevelt died that April and Harry S. Truman was left to oversee the end of the War in the Pacific.

Sixty Four years later, those seeds have grown into trees whose branches comprise the world of geopolitics, and the world is now truly a global village, rendering more true than ever the ancient Chinese admonition that the air moved from the flutter of a butterfly's wing is felt around the world. Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the "New World" are indeed on the brink of a "New World Order" so many have predicted, if not advocated, and the phrase "We Are All One" has taken on a new, fairly ominous meaning. As the current resident of the White House muddles on, taking America down a bit more each day, Tom Hayden's review of Mark Rudd's book on the days of Protest as they turned into days of Resistance raises questions indeed: not, of course, as to whether it is acceptable to blow people up a la Bill Ayers and Tim McVeigh, [who was most probably just another Jihadist's dupe]--but, more importantly, when does the realization that Protest, which is directed at entities one believes will listen, turn into Resistance, which moves forward with the sad realization that a government no longer listens or cares about the sentiments of its citizens. Regardless of what one may believe about Hayden, Rudd or any of those old time revolutionaries, Hayden illustrates the difference and the turning point between that of peaceful protest and resigned resistance. Had they only known then what would be occurring those 40 years hence...

My father and so many of his brave fellow soldiers are gone now. I am almost relieved that they did not have to live to see the desecration of the Constitution and the Country they fought so hard and risked so much to protect.

Among other atrocities, under cover of "Flu Mania, "H.R. 1388 was passed yesterday, surreptitiously of course. By executive order, pResident Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in "migration assistance" to the Palestinian refugees and "conflict victims" in Gaza .The "presidential determination", which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States , was signed on January 27 and appeared in the Federal Register on February 4. Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.

And, in case anyone may have forgotten some of these offenses in the onslaught, here is an itemized list of some of the worst of them since the ~~coup~~ "inauguration":

His first call to any head of state, as president, was to Mahmoud Abbas, leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.

His first one-on-one television interview with any news organization was with Al Arabia television.

He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees halted.

He ordered overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.

He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and the "terror attack" on 9/11.

He is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense.

A World Gone Mad Into LaLa Land

I feel a rant coming on...it started this morning with news from Hawaii, whose obdurately inane legislature has passed "Islam Day", just a few short years after the most horrendous attack in our history, on American soil, perpetrated by Muslims, occurred in New York. That, in itself, would be an outrage, were it not for the fact that Hawaii, despite its explanation for that heinous act being that they espouse "tolerance," is one of THE MOST racist, intolerant states in the country, replete with rudeness and intimidation directed at anyone white, light eyed or light haired. [Bear in mind, now, that THIS is the state in which Barry Soetoro is purported to have spent several of his formative years...] See May 6th''s Logistics Monster AYFKM for first hand account on that one.

And now for another Worst of the Day. World Net Daily calls it "Shocking to the Conscience," a term once used in SCOTUS decisions to indicate...well...things so abominable that they...shock the conscience. Today's Conscience Banger is the new hate crime legislation passed by the House of Representatives wherein

"House of Representatives passed legislation last week to add sexual orientation and gender to the list of categories covered by federal "hate-crimes" laws. 'Pedophilia is one of the scores of sexual orientations that are included, that are protected, that are granted special preferred status under this legislation to the exclusion of other classifications of people,' says Matt Barber of Liberty Counsel".

Except that...illegal acts are NOT protected under the law, the Constitution or anything else. BECAUSE THEY ARE ILLEGAL. As the old saw states, our right to free expression does NOT include the right to yell "FIRE!" in a crowded theater because it is detrimental to the freedom of OTHERS. Ergo, anyone doing something against the law DOES NOT HAVE THE FREEDOM TO DO IT. THEY ARE NOT PROTECTED BECAUSE IT IS ILLEGAL AND VIOLATES THE EITHER THE SPIRIT OF OUR LAWS OR THE PERSONAL FREEDOM OF OTHERS. Hence, killing people and stealing their money, their innocence or their peace of mind are NOT protected actions.

Truly, we have a Congress of morons. Craven cretins who know neither the law nor the spirit of it, the intention behind it or anything else having to do with--dare I say it--Common Sense. This Congress, few to none of whose children are going to war, refused to include the protection of Veterans in this legislation, but they are entirely willing to protect the rights of those who would violate the rights of others. For what else is a pedophile if not one who is so cavalier and self absorbed that they would violate a child?

I'm done. Stick a fork in me. There is no hope of reasoning with a Congress so uninterested in everything but their own skins and the continuance of full, life pensions. Clearly they have either forgotten their World History or never learned it, or they would heed the lesson of the tumbrils and remember that cake thing with a healthy concern.

I was talking with my good friend Logistics Monster last night and said my heart is heavy these days. So much is happening so fast...every day our Constitution and our Country are invaded, affronted and embarrassed by the Usurper who seized power in November with the help of some very powerful people, who, for all we know, may be having second thoughts themselves about the puppet they helped install. But perhaps there is a silver lining in this ever darkening cloud that has beseiged our nation. Never have I seen our country and its people so motivated, mobilized and committed to their Constitution and their Republic, so ready and willing to work so hard to save them despite derision, untruth and downright foul mouthed verbal assault from government and main stream media's obvious collusion. Like Buffalo Springfield, I'm thinking...

Sunday, May 3, 2009In the last century, the impassioned words and actions of patriots like Winston Churchill – along with America’s heroic help and sacrifice – saved Europe. The eloquence and actions of “I’ve been to the mountaintop” Martin Luther King Jr. brought America to an unprecedented level of social justice.The peerless oratory and tireless diplomacy of the man who would become Israel’s Foreign Minister, Abba Eban convinced the entire world that after the wanton murder of six-million Jews in the Holocaust its straggling survivors deserved their own state of Israel. The inspiring words and decisive actions of President Ronald Reagan ended the Cold War, tore down the Berlin Wall, and restored economic prosperity to America. The efforts of these towering figures resulted in a more highly-evolved world.
We have also seen the opposite in totalitarian leaders like Hitler, Mussolini, Fidel Castro, Pol Pot, Mao, and Saddam Hussein, among others, who exploited their masses, destroyed their economies, brought havoc, turbulence, grief and massive death within and outside of their countries, and made the world a more dangerous and threatening place.

The one thing all of these virtuous and evil men had in common was love for their respective countries, in fact a burning passion that superseded all else. The virtuous believed in freedom and democracy. The evil believed in subjugation of their peoples and lifetime tenures for themselves in order to actualize their goals of conquering their eternal enemies – Americans and Jews.

Today, we have a new crop of inveterate America- and Jew-haters, among them the Marxist leader of Venezuela Hugo Chavez, Nicaragua’s president Daniel Ortega, Iran’s “death-to-America-and-Israel” study-in-abnormal-psychology Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and the ever-sabotage-America and anti-Semitic “leaders” of the 22-Arab states that surround Israel.

I have either read about or observed firsthand all of these people. Yet in my decades of commenting on the political scene, I cannot recall a single leader of any country or regime who has ever spoken negatively of his country or tolerated others speaking ill of the land or the people he represented

Until now

Bizarre and, yes, repugnant as it is to our essentially centrist country, America now has a president who has broken that time-honored tradition. Barack Obama, on the campaign trail and as the leader of the free world is the first U.S. president to proclaim to anyone within earshot that he, like his wife, is not proud of his country, and is all-too-willing to offer serial apologies – for America! – to Americans and foreigners alike.

As Ed Lasky writes: “We know that during the campaign [Obama] warned that criticism of his wife was `off-limits’. But criticism of America – well, that is fine.”

We also know that during his run for the presidency, Obama expressed sneering condescension towards all those bible-clasping, gun-owning yahoos who “cling” to those silly things, and that in Europe he consistently gave voice to America’s supposed “sins.” But all that pales in comparison to the clear contempt – looks more like hatred to me – that Obama feels for the United States of America and for its most revered founding document, the U.S. Constitution.

In just the first 100-days of his tenure, Obama’s words and actions have demonstrated that he is no friend of the country he leads. This is only a smattering of what happened on his recent three-continent trip abroad and to Mexico:

In France, Obama told his audience that America “has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive” toward Europe.
In Prague, Obama – in true utopian-kindergarten fashion – pledged “with conviction” that America will “seek the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons.” In other words, destroy big bad America’s ability to defend itself!
In London, Obama made clear that the world’s financial wealth was no longer made by those inferior leaders Roosevelt and Churchill, effectively ceding America’s leading role in creating and sharing wealth to nations that have never measured up to our country’s bountiful generosity or spirit of free-market entrepreneurship.
In Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Obama sat passively while the Marxist Chavez handed him an American-bashing book and delivered another revile-America speech, while never once rising to defend our country.
In Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Obama again sat passively while the Marxist Ortega blamed the United States for a century of what he called terroristic U.S. aggression in Central America, again emitting not a whisper of defense on our country’s behalf.
In Turkey, Obama said – incredibly and inaccurately – that America was not a Christian nation.
And in his recent trip to Mexico, Obama said that the escalating border violence was essentially America’s fault.

Scan you memory. Can you think of any other leader in world history who so consistently badmouths his own country, or fails to defend it? I can’t.

Wall St. Journal writer Dorothy Rabinowitz notes that Obama “had gone to Europe not as the voice of his nation, but as a missionary with a message of atonement for its errors. No sitting American president had ever delivered indictments of this kind while abroad, or for that matter at home. When [our allies] see Obama’s moral equivalence, they realize they are on their own and must cut their own deals to survive – understanding that multicultural trendiness is now a cynical cover for moral laxity and ‘can’t we all get along?’

Historian Victor Davis Hanson also noticed something odd about Obama’s apology tour. “Despite this fresh climate of atonement, there was a complete absence of a single apology from any other foreign leader…not a word came from Britain about colonialism…nothing from Germany on the Holocaust…not a peep from France about Algeria or Vietnam. Turkey was mum on the Armenian killings…Russia said nothing about the 30 million murdered by Stalin…Nothing came from China about the 70 million who perished under Mao…Mr. Medvedev said nothing about Putin’s brutish rule…We saw no concrete evidence of any help — or hope and change — from any foreign leader. Zilch.”

In addition, Hanson continues, “We hear nothing about our Gettysburg, or our entry into World War I. Iwo Jima and the Bulge are never alluded to. Drawing the line in Korea and forcing the end of the Soviet monstrosity are taboo subjects. That we pledged the life of New York for Berlin in the Cold War is unknown. Liberating Afghanistan and Iraq from the diabolical Taliban and Saddam Hussein is left unsaid. The Civil Rights movement, the Great Society, affirmative action, and present billion-dollar foreign-aid programs apparently never existed. Millions of Africans have been saved by George Bush’s efforts at extending life-saving medicines to AIDS patients — but again, this is never referenced.”

Blogger James Lewis says that Obama’s “obsessive need to put down his own country shows a stunningly ignorant man who has evidently never spoken to a concentration camp survivor, a Cuban refugee, a boat person from Vietnam, a Soviet dissident, or a survivor of Mao’s purges.”

And Media Research Center’s Brent Bozell adds, “Obama `gets’ the America-haters.”

Abandoning allies, Embracing enemies

“If you are a longtime enemy of the United States, count on a grand reception from the Obama administration. All is forgiven and, worse, forgotten,” write Dick Morris and Eileen McGann. “But if you have a track record as an ally or friend, you won’t get the right time of day.”

Of course apologists for Obama & Co. point to “progress” in our foreign policy, ignoring, as Caroline Glick points out, that “America’s betrayal of its democratic allies makes each of them more vulnerable to aggression at the hands of their enemies – enemies the Obama administration is now actively attempting to appease.” Glick lays out the cold hard facts:

Obama abrogated America’s strategic commitment to the defense of our ally Japan when his administration reacted to North Korea’s ballistic missile test by saying the U.S. would only shoot the missile down if it targeted U.S. territory.
Obama slapped our ally India when he refused to make ending Pakistan’s support for jihadist terror groups attacking India a central component of its strategy for contending with Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Obama failed to assure our ally Iraq that democracy and freedom will be secured before U.S. forces are withdrawn next year.
Obama de facto abandoned our allies in Eastern Europe when he announced his intention to forge a new alliance with Russia. “The Czech, Polish, Georgian and Ukrainian governments,” Glick says, “were quick to recognize that Obama’s strong desire to curry favor with the Kremlin and weaken his own country will imperil their ability to withstand Russian aggression.”
Obama “is sacrificing the U.S.’s alliance with our ally Israel “in a bid to appease the Arabs and Iran by supporting the immediate establishment of a Palestinian state,” which, Glick warns, “requires Israel to commit national suicide in exchange for `peace.’” Obama also made clear “that from the administration’s perspective, an Israeli strike that prevents Iran from becoming a nuclear power is less acceptable than a nuclear-armed Iran.” In addition, Obama sent Hamas $900 million of foreign aid, “channeled through the UNRWA, a United Nations front filled with Hamas operatives”
Obama slapped our ally England when he returned the bust of Winston Churchill to Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
Obama slapped our ally Colombia and its president Alvaro Uribe when he refused to submit the free trade deal with Bogota to the Senate.

“What a great time to be our enemy!” Glick exclaims. “What a terrible time to be our friend!”

And speaking about appeasing Iran, the Obama administration recently asked a federal judge to throw out a $6.6-billion class-action lawsuit against Iran filed by 52 American diplomats and military officials held hostage for more than a year at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran 30 years ago. Nothing like selling out Americans to make brownie points with a bloodthirsty dictator!

Barry Rubin explains: “Friends, especially in Europe, are pleased, applaud, but then add that they don’t have to give this guy anything because he is all apologies and no toughness. They like the fact that he is all carrots and no sticks. If, however, they are states more at risk…they worry that they cannot rely on the United States to help and defend them. Enemies or potential rivals…say that this guy is weak and defeated. He apologizes, offers unconditional engagements, and promises concessions…they’ll eat the carrots and, if possible, their neighbors as well.”

NY Post writer Ralph Peters, a former military intelligence officer, sums up the hate-America core tenets of the “Obama Doctrine” as follows:
(1) We’re to blame,
(2) Problems can be negotiated away,
(3) Problems that can’t be talked out can be bought off,
(4) Islamist terrorism doesn’t exist,
(5) It’s all our fault,
(6) Israel’s the obstacle to Middle East peace,
(7) Our nukes threaten world peace and we need to get rid of them,
(8) Our military is dangerous,
(9) Our intelligence services are even more dangerous than our military,
(10) It’s only torture if we do it, and
(11) Blame President George W. Bush.

Obama is clearly not satisfied with threatening the safety of our tried-and-true allies abroad. He is also determined to undermine the bedrock foundation of America’s security – our military and intelligence agencies. By disclosing interrogation memos – and planning to release photographs associated with military probes into prisoner abuse – he has betrayed every heroic person who risks his or her life for our country, and unforgivably given aid-and-comfort to enemies who seethe with virulent anti-Americanism and lust for our demise. And in the Department of Homeland Security’s infamous memo, he has called members of our military, among others, potential domestic terrorists!

“After September 1th, the general outcry was, ‘Why don’t we have better overseas capabilities?’” said Porter Goss, director of the CIA from September 2004 to May 2006. “I fear that in the years to come, this refrain will be heard again. It is certainly not trust that is fostered when intelligence officers are told one day ‘I have your back,’ only to learn a day later that a knife is being held to it.”

How horrifying to contemplate that it is the President of the United States himself who is wielding that back-stabbing knife!

Questioning Obama’s patriotism

Before the November election, legal scholar Henry Mark Holzer wrote – and scrupulously documented – a stunning indictment of Obama in which he stated that Obama’s repeatedly professed claim to be a patriot is “a fraud on the American people – and an insult to the countless true patriots who, for over two hundred years, have loved and loyally and zealously supported the United States of America.”

“Patriots,” Holzer concluded, “don’t associate with and derive sustenance from terrorists, America-haters and anti-Semites; they don’t countenance fixed elections; they don’t keep secrets from voters; they don’t intimidate their enemies; they don’t denigrate and degrade our military; they don’t gratuitously interfere with their government’s efforts to protect our country; and they don’t disdain the symbol of this great nation, which for over two centuries men and women have fought and died: the American flag. Whatever Barack Obama is, we can be certain that he is no patriot!”

The events that have followed Obama’s election, Holzer says, “have compounded the proof of the president’s lack of patriotism,” which he has recently spelled out in a follow-up article. A few of the many examples he provides of what “a patriotic American president does not do include:

Bankrupt this country and court massive inflation in order to implement his vision of a fascist/socialist nation.
Sit on his hands with a straight face while a South American thug insults his country.
Appoint America-haters to his cabinet.
Cozy up to a soon-to-be-nuclear-armed Iranian madman.
Impotently watch the probably-already-nuclear-armed North Korean Stalinists lob a ballistic missile across the Pacific.
Fail to stanch the flow of illegal aliens across the Mexican-United States border.
Cut the defense budget.
Strangle innovation during a serious recession by raising taxes.
Close Guantanamo Bay without a clue of how to handle the enemy combatants incarcerated there.
Publicly announce what measures military and CIA interrogators can use to extract information from terrorists.
Apologize to the world for what has made America great and grovel to persons, nations. and institutions unfit to shine our shoes!
Cede American sovereignty to the American-hating United Nations.
Defy the Second Amendment and a Supreme Court decision by making an end run that substantially reduces the supply of certain ammunition.
Repudiate the policy and practice of missile shield installation.”

Some dare call it treason

It is one thing to question a president’s patriotism, but even more serious to accuse him of treason. In an open letter to Obama on Treason, Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III (U.S. Naval Academy, Class of 1975) minces no words in accusing the president of sending Army forces to Samson, Alabama, and Boston in violation of the Constitution. Here are excerpts of his letter:

“I have observed and extensively recorded invidious attacks by military-political aristocrats against the Constitution for twenty years. Now you have broken in and entered the White House by force of contrivance, concealment, conceit, and deceit. Posing as an imposter president and commander in chief, you have stripped civilian command and control over the military establishment…
“We come now to the reckoning. I accuse you and your military-political criminal assistants of TREASON. I name you and your military criminal associates as traitors. Your criminal ascension manifests a clear and present danger. You fundamentally changed our form of government. The Constitution no longer works….

“I identify you as a foreign-born domestic enemy. You are not my president. You are not my commander in chief.

Fitzpatrick is not alone. John Smith – a blogger on Townhall.com, titled a recent article “Obama Is a Traitor.” Commenting on the president’s release of the “torture” memos, Smith says:

“Given the actions of Barack Obama in recent days, one has to wonder how many soon-to-be released State secrets have been gathered by radical left-wing traitors and hidden in the dark recesses of Washington, awaiting the Manchurian Candidate’s command to publish them…

“The motivation for Obama’s recent intentional disclosure of Top Secret CIA memoranda…was an act committed solely to increase his own political power through appeasement of the radical left…or was it …guided by the twisted moral imperative uniquely embraced by the Left, which dictates that only those actions that serve to limit individual liberty, punish patriotism, and destroy the traditions and culture of the United States of America are good?…

“Were Obama’s actions motivated by a deeply rooted desire to harm this Nation?…

“Article III of the Constitution defines Treason against the United States as “… levying War against them or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort…”.

“Top Secret information is the highest level of classification that we have on a national level. By definition, such material, if made public, will cause “exceptionally grave damage” to national security…

“The willful disclosure of Top Secret information is an act of Treason against the United States….A sitting President of The United States of America has committed Treason.”

Fitzpatrick and Smith are among a rising tide of voices – in and outside of the military – who have observed with growing horror Obama’s proclivity to destroy our capitalist economic system, subvert the U.S. Constitution, endanger our military and intelligence services, and obsequiously embrace America’s sworn enemies.

Dr. Jack Wheeler, a consummate Washington insider, goes one step further. “The evidence that the President of the United States is a traitor is mounting. The evidence that the President of the United states is a mortal danger to America’s national security is mounting. The evidence that the President of the United States will not defend America from threats and insults from every two-bit fascist dictator in the world …is not only mounting, it is overwhelming.”

Writer Amy L. Geiger-Hammer states: “I do wonder if Obama should be called a traitor or just incompetent…does he ever talk about what a great country America is?”
And UK journalist Gerald Warner echoes that rising tide: “If al-Qaeda, the Taliban and the rest of the Looney Tunes brigade want to kick America to death, they had better move in quickly and grab a piece of the action before Barack Obama finishes the job himself. Never in the history of the United States has a president worked so actively against the interests of his own people - not even Jimmy Carter. Obama’s problem is that he does not know who the enemy is. To him, the enemy does not squat in caves in Waziristan, clutching automatic weapons and reciting the more militant verses from the Koran: instead, it sits around at tea parties in Kentucky quoting from the US Constitution. “

Is America Lost?

Multiple lawsuits to find proof that Obama is Constitutionally ineligible to be president are ongoing and will ultimately determine if he is an American or Kenyan or Indonesian or UK “natural-born” citizen. To this date, he has spent over a million dollars blocking the suits about his still-missing birth certificate, and there is increasing evidence that the birth certificate attested to by FactCheck.org, FightTheSmears.org, and DailyKos.com are forgeries. And of course we still have not seen Obama’s Selective Service record, medical records, multiple visas, college transcripts, et al.

If Obama is proven to be the fraud and interloper many suspect, every one of his edicts, bills, laws, dictates, Supreme Court selections, et al, will be overturned , leaving America to cope with serious problems – under the leadership of the incomprehensible Joe Biden – but nothing approaching this hate-America president’s far-left socialist domestic programs and appease-our-enemies foreign policy.

The huge national turnouts at the Tea Parties of April 15 were only the beginning of a movement that was spurred by ordinary Americans waking up to Obama’s destruction of our economy, his attempts to reshape America into a banana republic, the grave damage he’s inflicted on our military and intelligence services, and his unsavory predilection for embracing our enemies and apologizing non-stop for the most magnificent nation on earth.

In short, they are waking up to the president who hates his country.

Editor Charlotte Baker predicts that “the Tea Parties and other, more aggressive, protests will grow exponentially, and that the Obama juggernaut can and will be stopped.” It’s crucial, she says, “for all Americans to recall the history they learned in school – at least before the Left hijacked what used to be known as `education.’ The Europeans, Japanese and Russians were all taken over by one form or another of totalitarianism because their combined history was one of absolute rulers – kings, czars and `divine’ emperors. They were totally conditioned to tyranny.

“But the monstrous anti-American gang that rigged the voting system on November 4, 2008– as they do routinely in Obama’s Chicago Machine politics – to push Obama into We-the-People’s White House, have shown – even before his inauguration – the kind of overreaching that arrogant tyrants always demonstrate. Hitler, Mao, Tojo and Stalin all got away with overreaching, but they weren’t brutalizing Americans.

“Tolerating totalitarianism is simply not in the genetic code – the DNA – of Americans!” Baker adds. “Freedom and Liberty run in our blood!”

Indeed!

BERLIN (AP) - More than 270 police officers were injured in this year's May Day riots in the German capital yesterday, once again illustrating the fact that not only is May Day no longer a happy spring event, but has become a venue for unrest, demonstration and dissent. It also underlines the fact that while America suffers from the internal enemies of corruption, coup and errant leadership, so, too, does the rest of the world. Although May Day riots in Germany are an annual event, it was reported that the violence was more pronounced and started earlier this year. A portent of things to come perhaps, over the long hot summer ahead.

Can it possibly be otherwise with a Usurper in the White House who insists upon stacking the administration with Islamists, DHS Secretary who demonizes and tries to diminish the character and courage of our veterans and a media whose bias rivals that of the old Pravda, Tass and Isvestia combined?? Add these travesties with the constant assault on our Constitution and the economic disaster including 32 known American bank failures that has spread world wide and you have the perfect storm.

May Day... Mayday, Mayday, Mayday!

May Day: It's a celebration of Spring. It's a day of political protests. It's a neopagan festival, a saint's feast day, and a day for organized labor. In many countries, it is a national holiday. The first of May was once a happy day spent in celebration of spring. In medieval England, people would celebrate the start of spring by going out to the country or woods—"going a-maying"—and gathering flowers, or "bringing in the may." Here in America, it was once a day for parties, May poles with ribbons and apple blossums. Vikings had Walpurgis Night, Celtics Beltain, Latin countries have Cinco de Mayo four days later, and Obby Oss is thought to be the oldest May Day celebration in Europe, dating back to the 13th century. In the hey days of the former U.S.S.R., large parades, populated with all manner of military vehicles and weaponry, were the word of the day, celebrating The People and, of course, most importantly, The State.
Mayday, on the other hand, is an emergency code word used internationally as a distress signal in radio communications. It derives from the French "venez m'aider" ["r" is silent], meaning 'come help me'. It is used to signal life-threatening emergency, and The Call is always given three times in a row ("Mayday Mayday Mayday") to prevent mistaking it for something similar-sounding under noisy conditions, and to distinguish an actual Mayday call from a message about a Mayday call.
Unfortunately, today marks occasion for both. A big H/T to American Genie, Logistics Monster and Live, Fortunes, Sacred Honor for continuing to make us aware of the many dangers we presently face, including the hubristic, invasive and illegal tactics practiced by ACORN, and reminding us that even though it is difficult to wrap our minds around this stuff, it is vital that we do so or suffer the severe consequences. After reading Genie and Namvet's posts about it, I shared my own experience with ACORN brownshirts trespassing on my property without permission, and if it is any portant of the future, we do indeed have much to fear.
When I found them in my yard, I told them that I was not interested in helping them in any way as

1) They were illegally on my property without my permission;

2) It was not census time;

3) Census is a NOT constitutionally within the purview of the FREAKING WHITE HOUSE.

The nice old gent in front wavered a moment until his partner in crime, a no nonsense type older woman who seemed to have a lot of experience rounding up uncooperative enemies of the State told him he had to hand me a piece of paper, which he did. It was the same one Genie received, reminding us what we are "obligated" to do and what we are not. But wait--there's more!
Five minutes later I was in the back yard and whom do I see trespassing around my old, helpless single neighbor's back yard and outbuildings--the same pair of miscreants. I yelled, "CAN I HELP YOU?" and they mumbled something about looking for other residents on the property. I told them that no one lived there and that they needed to move on. Unfortunately, the damage was already done. GPS in hand, they managed to creep my meighborhood and register it on on their hand held device. Scary times these.

They are *only* GPS marking your front door now, and Sec. 223, Title 13, U.S. Code, Chapter 7, Subtitle 2 provides the Fed NO authority to GPS paint your front door. Best I can tell, the Fed has NO authority whatsoever, to paint the front door of every private residence in America. Still, that is exactly what they are doing. Now, the trillion dollar question is, why?

And, finally, and perhaps most disturbing, [it IS a tough call, after all, with such massive amounts of shock and awe assaulting us every day] I bring a bon voyage message from my friend Doctorate, on her way to some blessed R & R in warm sunny climes:

[One] could literally see Robert Gibbs's nose growing yesterday as he made statements about what Joe Biden "meant" regarding Swine Flu and his family's travel prospects. This combined with the recent bowing-to-royalty incident, which we literally watched on video while he told us it wasn't happening, is beyond the pale. It all reminds me of when I lived in Santiago for five years. In underdeveloped countries under authoritarian rule, there is not only constant manipulation of the press by the government - which uses the media as a propaganda tool - but the average citizen learns to have no qualms about lying through his or her teeth about the most mundane of topics. For example, if you would ask someone for directions there back in the 80s, and they did not know the answer, they would happily make up something and send you wherever. It was less shameful to invent a story then to say, "I don't know," or to articulate an explanation or apology. This is part of the underdeveloped mentality generally and could happen under any type of government; but it is facilitated by authoritarianism in cases where the ruling party sets the tone even for thought.
We are dealing in the realm of idiocy here and sometimes it is indeed laughable, though no less terrifying.
PS: I trust the opposition is in good hands right now, including yours. If you could do one thing while I am away, could you please remove the usurper? Just that would be great. Seriously, here's hoping the lawsuits are in full substantive swing when I get back.

Fly By's, Flu Bugs and What To Do?! Whoooaaaaa! NOT good. Well, other than stepping up those visits to the Reflexologist, look at the bright side: now we know why they're floating that flu thing all over the wires... Massachusetts legislators yesterday unanimously rammed a martial law bill into law with a 36-0 vote, allowing a public health commissioner to close or evacuate buildings, enter private property for investigations, and quarantine individuals — in a public health emergency, of course. The bill specifically mandates the following:

(1) to require the owner or occupier of premises to permit entry into and investigation of the premises;
(2) to close, direct, and compel the evacuation of, or to decontaminate or cause to be decontaminated any building or facility, and to allow the reopening of the building or facility when the danger has ended;
(3) to decontaminate or cause to be decontaminated, or to destroy any material;
(4) to restrict or prohibit assemblages of persons;
(5) to require a health care facility to provide services or the use of its facility, or to transfer the management and supervision of the health care facility to the department or to a local public health authority;
(6) to control ingress to and egress from any stricken or threatened public area, and the movement of persons and materials within the area;
(7) to adopt and enforce measures to provide for the safe disposal of infectious waste and human remains, provided that religious, cultural, family, and individual beliefs of the deceased person shall be followed to the extent possible when disposing of human remains, whenever that may be done without endangering the public health;
(8) to procure, take immediate possession from any source, store, or distribute any anti-toxins, serums, vaccines, immunizing agents, antibiotics, and other pharmaceutical agents or medical supplies located within the commonwealth as may be necessary to respond to the emergency;
(9) to require in-state health care providers to assist in the performance of vaccination, treatment, examination, or testing of any individual as a condition of licensure, authorization, or the ability to continue to function as a health care provider in the commonwealth

Any person who knowingly violates an order of the commissioner or his or her designee, or of a local public health authority or its designee, given to effectuate the purposes of this subsection shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than 6 months, or by a fine of note more than one thousand dollars, or both.

Well, by hook or by crook, the government continues to wedge itself into positions of increasing authority, making further inroads into our Constitution. [ Earlier this year, the State of New Jersey passed into law a bill mandating vaccinations for all children, desite the fact that it runs contrary to the tenets of our Constitution, which, along with our Declaration of Independence, states otherwise]. In fact, to be perfectly clear here: The Constitution does NOT CONFER rights upon us. Rather, it affirms the Declaration of Independence's assertion that

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."

Again: there ARE 'certain inalienable rights' which we hold automatically, as human beings, and which cannot be taken, by the government or anyone else, because they cannot be 'given.' We ALREADY HAVE them. Or did, until this bunch of clowns forced their way into our government.

However, the brouhaha about the latest round of flu appears to be at best a conundrum and at worst, a smokescreen for something far worse. It seems that another one of the patterns [so many patterns, so little time!] that has emerged in the last 100 Days is the Smoke and Mirrors ploy, in which a maddening, albeit lesser event such as AIG executives' bonuses [or a flu outbreak] consistently floods the airwaves, only to cover up something else, far more nefarious, that is actually transpiring behind the scenes, for the most part safely unreported. Take, for example, the Bailouts, which 99% of the American people opposed, or the Goldman Sachs/AIG ruse. Media had the public all worked up over AIG bonus packages, which, while significant by most middle class standards, was a mere drop in the bucket compared to the bazillions being shoveled out their back door into their own executives' pockets and foreign owned subsidiaries. Yesterday I had occasion to be in a room with about 10 people, all of us held captive by CNN bleating constant flu coverage from a shelf too high up on the wall to mute. Not ONE of us was paying even the slightest bit of attention. After about 45 minutes, someone said, "I don't believe anything I hear on the news." Another said, "I never watch it." All concurred. Then in walked three people who appeared to be Mexicans. [no, I am not a racist; there is a large Mexican community here]. No one moved away from them, held their breath or pulled out their hand sanitizer. Interestingly, however, a source recently told me that Baxter [you remember Baxter--they reported that clusterfrack in March where they "accidentally" contaminated "samples" with live bird flu virus] has been stockpiling huge amounts of flu vaccine, amassing store rooms full of it. The source said claims he has never seen anything like in Baxter before. Now, admittedly, this is purely anecdotal and, as this piece is not really about Baxter or the flu, I am leaving it at that: a FWIW that may or may not fit into the puzzle. Then again...walking and talking like a duck may very well indicate the presence of one. However, as with most things, one must sift events not individually, but through the aggregate to get a feel for reality. In other flu news, for instance,

As the World Health Organization raised infectious disease alert level Wednesday and health officials confirmed the first death linked to swine flu inside U.S. borders, scientists studying the virus are coming to the consensus that this hybrid strain of influenza -- at least in its current form -- isn't shaping up to be as fatal as the strains that caused some previous pandemics. So...just what is one to believe? It was clear from the huge turnouts at April Tea Parties this month that the American people are indeed "Mad As Hell and NOT Going To Take It Anymore." As much as main stream media tried to ignore them, it became impossible to do it, and so, Plan B was rolled out with personal attacks on the attendees designed to neutralize and dismiss them as "veterans" [heaven forbid!], right wing crackpots and domestic terrorists [projection?], which culminated in MSNBC and CNN being reported to the FCC for using foul and inappropriate language regarding tea, rude, pushy and obviously biasedCNN reporter Susan Roesgen suddenly disappearing for a "vacation" and the American people triumphing in their effort to take to the streets to make their voices heard. So much for Plan B. Is it possible that Plan C includes a ruse to scare them off the streets over the long, hot summer ahead with threat of the flu? Certainly. Any administration that would even CONSIDER terrorizing its own citizens with a flyover above lower Manhattan in post-911 times is not only ghoulish, but capable, obviously, of trying anything to achieve their goal, which at present appears to be that of scaring, demoralizing and immobilizing Americans in order to keep them quiet, malleable and easy to subdue. As the domestic terrorist in the White House continues to shock, awe and amaze with the worst combination of cavalier bad taste, poor judgment and bait and switch tactics the world has ever seen, we stand at the ready to decipher the WRH's, the WORMS, and the battle of words, all the better to defend ourselves and our country against the onslaught from within and without.

The First 100 Days: Like Syphillus Only Not As Much Fun

Well, people, there you have it, straight from the horse's mouth. The reports are out and, as we knew already, it isn't pretty. As if to herald the sheer thrill of managing to stay IN the Oval Office this long, The One went wild this week, terrorizing innocent New Yorkers with a "flyover" guaranteed to render everyone in the Tri State area a permanent episode of post traumatic stress and flooding the public with Fear of Flu. Well...don't say I didn't warn you but... I told you so...oh wait, YOU'RE the ones that already knew it.

Our intrepid patriot at Hillbuzz did raise an interesting question this week about the connection between cocaine abuse and early onset Parkinsons Disease. That would certainly explain, among other things, the need for a constant script rendered on a teleprompter, to keep "One" focused, prevent confusion, losing train of thought, and allowing medication to overcome him with giddiness, paranoia, or hallucinations — all symptoms of Parkinson’s. Just sayin'...

Obambi As Messiah, Flyover & Flu Redux

Word has been circulating about how Obambi, on a visit to Mexico, was greeted by a man who [VERY--as in almost imediately thereafter] subsequently died from the new swine/avian/people/whatever flu. As Michael Yon said yesterday in his account of British IED tracking training in Borneo recently, "Something's a bit dodgy here." Now I'm no epidemiologist, public health official or biochemist, but doesn't it seem just a BIT...dodgy...to, by some miracle, have Obozo greeted by someone purportedly so infected with this big bad flu that he DIED within a day or so after that meeting??

Let us shift gears for a moment and beam ourselves back to New York, where the official unveiling of the horrifically blasphemous, bilious travesty entitled, "The Truth" will take place at Union Square's South Plaza tomorrow, April 29th. Michael D'Antuono, the creator of this cretin colossus of crappe, has been known to send emails asking, "What is your truth?"

I bow to the inquiring mind of the renowned Lame Cherry for a frightening analysis of this horror, wherein she sagely notes the placement of the words and letters covered by the image therein, and urge anyone with a scintilla of intelligence to click on the link to read it in full.

Look at the words the artwork is displaying. Literally it is:

That will mean little to anyone who does not have a Latin background in studies, but in checking the Notre Dame site translator in what caught my attention in AL is a Middle Eastern Indo European term as in Ba AL or ALlah for the moon god which Muslims transformed into calling God. The Al or El prefix or suffix is all through English in the first kings of the Britons in Ethelwulfe to Albert. It definitely means a god. So what does this god OF THE ESIDENT mean?

In Latin there is no word for Esident, but if one takes the root word of SIDUS as the "e" as in E Pluribus Unum, meaning, we have e sidus dent.
Sidus means, STAR, so the word ESIDENT means, the STAR we See.
Combining this the phrase in English so far reads, God of the Star we See.
This then combines with of the UN ED STAT.
In Latin, un means "not" or "none", it does not e xist or is fragmenting.
The ED prefix means to "put out, declare, perform" in various Latin words from edo, edico, edoceo.
STAT is the meaning "res publica" or the public of a nation state.
Combining the entire phrase in this painting honoring Barack Hussein Obama, translates the Latin English phrase of:

The god of the star we see of the performing the fragmentation of the nation.

Then, go over to Drew Zahn's April 25th WND piece. As you will see, this is NOT a figment of my imagination. The Psy Ops employed by BOzo's handlers are extreme, extremely UNsubtle, and, to me, impart two messages:

Whoever *They* are, they are in a BIG hurry to annoint this idiot in our minds as a superhuman figure who does not even catch a super duper flu; and
They know they have to work overtime to convey that misguided notion because he is so pathetically lacking in any qualities of leadership, intelligence and accountability.

The big news is "Flu Pandemic" and what does he do? He goes golfing while his DHS dupe is busy explaining why she isn't stopping Mexicans who may be infected at the borders and why she has taken to accusing our veterans of homicidal lunacy, and Louis Caldera, formerly an "independent director" of the flawed and failed Indymac, his White House Military Office director is telling planes to fly low and close to buildings in downdown Manhattan. Discounting the obvious fact that he should NEVER even conceived of such an insane idea let alone allowd it, the fact that no one in that still-traumatized area was appropriately warned defies logic, and obviously, even to the dimmest of countenances, the incident was both cruel and foolish. Unless, of course, it was by DESIGN. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a coincidence, and even these fools have better judgment than that, so one can only conclude that indeed, it WAS by design.

Both that whacked out picture and the Deification Project are literally sickening to behold. I have a strong stomach but the sight and sound of these things, combined with increasingly ill conceived events like the flyover, have literally made my hair stand on end. Just WHY and HOW we as a nation have managed to allow a coup installing this lame excuse for a sentient being into our White House I will never know, but now that it has occurred, the implications are clear.

The Psy Ops are in full swing, as is evidenced by yesterday's intimidating and terrorizing "fly by"--what, they never heard of PHOTOSHOP???

In a memo obtained by CBS 2 HD the Federal Aviation Administration's James Johnston said the agency was aware of "the possibility of public concern regarding DOD (Department of Defense) aircraft flying at low altitudes" in an around New York City. But they demanded total secrecy from the NYPD, the Secret Service, the FBI and even the mayor's office and threatened federal sanctions if the secret got out.

I rest my case. As I said...the only thing one can be sure of is that NONE of this stuff is accidental, or the result of "poor judgment," although doubtless there is plenty of that going around these days. But the rest of it REEKS of evil psy ops gone mad and in case anyone has not yet wakened from their kool aid stupor, now would be the time to do so. It may already be too late.

As they say, For What It's Worth...something's happening here...and it isn't pretty.

FINALLY! CNN is getting a taste of its own bile. World Net Daily reported yesterday that the FCC has been flooded with complaints about the vile manner in which news readers Anderson Cooper, David Shuster, whose vile statement about Chelsea being "pimped out" to campaign for her mother last year elicited public outrage, and David Gergen referred to Americans at the massive Tea Party rallies across the nation on April 15. Anyone who missed it can click on the World Net Daily link above, but be forewarned--it is truly nasty, sophomoric and insulting to the sensibilities of everyone save the perpetrators. I would urge EVERYONE to go to the FCC site and lodge a complaint against CNN, Cooper, Gergen and Shuster. The more complaints registered, the better the public can register its distaste for these shamefully immature, biased and uninformed individuals who have no business invading our homes through the airwaves. CNN and MSNBC are notorious for their low journalistic standards, poor quality reporting and extreme bias. Allowing these individuals, and people like them, to retain their jobs is an affront to every American.

The Blame Game

For those who amply indulge, The Blame Game works in an interesting way. Those who, like Mr. Obama, constantly exhort others not to blame THEM almost always simultaneously engage in blaming OTHERS. For everything from poor judgment, "misspoken" words or continual association with known criminals, to the unwillingness to release simple information about their country[ies] of origin, educational record or other nefarious issues. As Ben Shapiro so aptly writes in today's "Real Clear Politics' Don't Blame Me: The Obama Doctrine" there is nothing so foul as one who not only refuses to take responsibility, but is also so ignorant of both history and political science that they actually believe that simply because a foreign sovreignty's head of state is polite to them, they have forged an ally. As Mr. Shapiro so wisely reminds us, NOTHING could be farther from the truth. And, rather than belabor it by reinventing the wheel here, I point you to his sage observations at RCP with a h/t and many thanks to him.

Yesterday, a listener posed a question at the Event wall for our Constitutional Radio show: he asked what made us different from 'all the other' radio talk show hosts. I replied thusly.

I'd like to thank you for raising that question! Firstly, I think it is a mistake to disparage talk show hosts, as we are now the only respite from the propaganda machine that has supplanted the news source that was once main stream media. We are the last bastion that stands between fact and complete lack of information, total disinformation, news suppression and out and out propaganda. Secondly, it is always a mistake to make generalizations because of the vast difference and array of talk show hosts, topics and objectives. Thirdly, what distinguishes drkate and me [a/k/a Dame Central] in our Constitutional Radio initiative is that we strive to EDUCATE ourselves and our listeners so that we are AWARE of both the LAW and our OPTIONS in working to restore our Constitutional Republic. We take great care with respect to whom we invite as guests, always keeping in mind that our goal is to EDUCATE, MOTIVATE AND ACTIVATE concerted response to the issues our country faces today.

We continue to be at the forefront of NETWORKING, MOBILIZING and ORGANIZING Americans to EXERCISE THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS of FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION, RIGHT TO ASSEMBLE, and right to bear arms, these being the First and Second Amendments to our Constitution, and the first two amendments of the 10 that comprise our Bill of Rights. ...HIS crime? Daring to interview USC journalism students about Katie Couric’s journalistic practices. Dare I note that I am shocked? Or shall I simply accept the fact that we have lost our First Amendment rights of freedom of expression, that is, of course, unless one is a member of the Corporate or Government Elite, such as Messrs. [no pun intended there] Immelt, Zucker, or Obama, a member of Congress, a DHS official or a main stream media newsreader, who are all allowed to libel and slander our troops, characterizing them as what amounts to crazed, violent homicidal maniacs waiting to blow up their own country. THEY have freedom of expression; WE do not. John Ziegler interviews students about the mindless Katie's [yellow] journalism, for which she won an award; Anderson Cooper makes a foul, odious joke likening patriotic Americans' rallying for their country to practitioners of perverted sex. Both are rewarded for base, small minded conduct, and John Ziegler gets arrested for politely but firmly speaking his truth. For John, twas ever thus: He has been paying the price for truth most of his life. Just read his 2005 treatise on "The Death of Free Speech" to see how sublimely ridiculous it has all become.

I don't often ask for direction, especially since I have learned over the last year that our millions of petitions for redress, emails of concern, faxes to follow up and phone calls to flood switchboard now fall on deaf, dumb and often hostile ears, but in this case, I feel it no less than incumbent upon each and every one of us to contact the Annenberg School [Annenberg? Really?! Now, WHERE have we heard THAT name before...it is a Challenge indeed...Oh yes! Messers. AYERS and OBAMA have very close ties to that name, via the Woods Foundation...and a few other things... ;) ] ceaselessly and continuously with a solid barrage of H & I protesting the death of free speech, especially at the hands of a "School of Journalism & Communication."

There is Nothing Like a Marine...

For all our Military who stand on the line to keep us safe, I offer these thoughts and thanks today, after we have witnessed the blasphemies from DHS, Congress, Main Scream Media, most particularly Messrs. Immelt and Zucker, representing General Electric, CNN, NBC, the White House and, the ever present Dose of Pelosi, characterizing our patriotic rallies as 'astroturf' and our veterans as "violent, lunatic fringe, right wing extremist, domestic terrorists" even as they risk their own lives for us and for their country, over and over, deployment after deployment. To those whose ignorance and insensitivity will be their legacy, I say 'Shame On YOU!' and to those they have insulted, I say "Care not, for they are not worthy of wiping the sand from your boots." 99.99% of Americans appreciate, with awe and gratitude, the sacrifices our Military makes. Tax Day Tea Parties Abound!

What a day! Both proud and sad, as hundreds of thousands of patriotic Americans, labeled 'domestic terrorists' by Obama administration's DHS Secretary Napolitano, flocked to more than 700 cities today for mass demonstrations of patriotism and concern for their country. Watching FNC coverage of San Antonio, Atlanta, DC and New York rallies brought not tingles down the leg, but a pounding of the heart as we saw so many Americans come out to exercise their first amendment rights under their Constitution. From Atlas Shrugs, Colonel Allen B. West writes:

I have just finished reading Secretary Napolitano’s office declaring that, “the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks”.As well, this report cites, “returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to right-wing extremists, who will attempt to recruit and radicalize veterans in order to boost their violent capacities”.Align these statements with Barack Hussein Obama’s intentions to have wounded war veterans use private health insurance and you see the contempt this administration holds for those who protect and defend this Republic. We have an administration which declares we cannot call radical Islamic terrorists “enemy combatants”. We can no longer speak of a war on terror, only overseas contingency operations. However, this administration issues a report demonizing our heroic vets as potential terrorists and extremists! Perhaps those Navy SEAL snipers should be made aware that they are considered potential terrorists because of the skills they exhibited to save an American citizen. Not only that, this report admonishes law enforcement to watch out for individuals with “radical” ideologies based on Christian views such as opposing illegal immigration, abortion, and federal taxes. Indeed, this report decries anyone who is concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion, and the loss of US sovereignty. In other words this means anyone holding conservative principles in opposition to left wing liberal socialist policies is a threat.

Atlas Shrugs's Pam Geller, who will appear on this Monday's "The Dame Truth" has done a fine job of covering not only the world at large and the ever growing threat of Islamic Ideology but the Tea Parties, is a champion of truth, First Amendment rights and American Patriotism, attending New York's Tea Party and reporting on many others with terrific photos, while Purple People Vote resonates what is undoubtedly the majority of Americans, no longer silent about their plight in sad state of affairs they once called Government.

In other news, this writer attended Mike Morgan's [of Lennar fame] web conference earlier today to learn more about his GoldmanSachs initiative--a brilliant attorney, investment advisor and activist, we can expect to hear more about his pledge to investigate and bring to justice the perpetrators of the Goldman Sachs heist.

What does all this mean? It means that Americans are indeed 'Mad as Hell and...not going to take it anymore." It means that the 99% who believe that the Tea Party Movement will continue to build with force are committed and passionate about their love of country and their belief that government should work FOR and BY the People. It means that we, as Americans, are at the tipping point, much as the French at the dawn of the Revolution there. Let the People speak, or let the tumbrils roll. It's up to you folks. Oh, and by the way, GE's NBC, Jeff Zucker and CNN--take heed. You're not in control. WE, the American People are, and always have been.

Divided We Fall

Written and directed by Jan Hrebejk, Divided We Fall is the brilliant 2000 film about a war-torn, Nazi occupied Czech village in which one couple makes the ultimate sacrifice to save another by hiding a Jewish friend at great personal risk of discovery and execution. Ironies and plot twists abound, much life life itself, and the message is clear: Divided We Fall.

Present day America, and indeed, the world, should see this film, heed this message, and take it to heart. Today's Logistics Monster, apparently resonating my thoughts, posts a short, powerful statement, replete with David Johnson video--another 'Must See.' Today's current climate, both in America and throughout the world, is tenuous at best, fraught with fear and teetering at a tipping point few of us ever dreamed of seeing. We face issues that we, as Americans, had grown up believing long since resolved, only to wake up, like so many stunned attendees at the Tea Party down the rabbit hole, to find that little, if anything has been resolved. We stand at the edge of an abyss in a combined Perfect Storm culture medium of Constitutional abuse, unresponsive government, and economic downfall at the hands of entities such as Henry Paulson's Goldman Sachs etal.

Like the men who fought to win the Island of Iwo Jima so our planes could land for refueling, we, too must ALL hang together, despite any perceived differences. We must remember that we are ALL Americans, and as such, must refrain from dissension and disunity in order to fight the Beast at our door who encourages and foments factional fights. Look at Ernie Pyle's famed picture of the Marines as they hove our flag atop Mt. Suribachi, which epitomizes loyalty and teamwork, and remember it well. All of us need to heed its image and its message and stop criticizing one another as we unite to once again raise our flag atop the newest mountain of challenge, that of our Constitution, our Liberty and our Country, and remember, the Marine Corps adage, "First the Mission." There is little to be accomplished and a great deal to be lost by indulging in disagreements of any kind now, be they between parties, genders or attorneys filing suit to ensure our Constitution's safety.

His Wonders to Behold: Redemption!

Blessings to all at the beginning of this universal holy weekend, which signals redemption, rebirth and new beginnings. Thus, a hat tip to Jeff Zeleny and, miracle of miracles, the New York Times, for suddenly and inexplicably printing some truth where Barry Soetoro is concerned. In his April 9 Washington Memo, Zeleny wastes no time getting to the meat of the matter in what is perhaps one of the most sagely salient columns he's written. Says he, "[Obama] is not a mortgage broker. But...[he] seemed to be playing one on television, urging Americans not to miss out on rock-bottom refinancing rates."
But wait--there's more. And, while it gets worse for the erstwhile Resident, it gets better for us, as we begin to catch a glimmer of--dare I invoke that heinous sham of a word--*hope* that at long last, one small voice in the endless parade of main stream media hucksters has not only seen the light [how could one not??!] but is willing to run against the tide with his pen.

While it is true that characterizing the Resident as TV Salesman is overly kind, indeed it's a start, for everything this creature does is an outrage and an embarrassment, not only to the American people, but to himself. From the utter arrogance and ignorance of returning a Churchill bust, which belonged NOT to HIM, but to the American People, to blubbering and babbling mindlessly when caught in the headlights of a malfunctioning teleprompter, to bowing and scraping to Islamic surrogates in the person of Saudi leaders, appearing on late night television like some third rate stand up comedian wherein he insulted, among others, those in the Special Olympics who have actually WORKED to ACHIEVE something, to associating with the dregs of society and employing many of them as his minions, to the weekly, wild, lavish parties filled with Kobe beef and god-knows-what-else, this "administration," in less than three months, has indeed accomplished more than any other American president: the complete and utter shaming of the office of POTUS and the bankrupting of the treasury.

Among the endless list of stellar abominations was the hiring of Lawrence Summers, a top economic adviser who received payments last year from firms over which he now has influence. Mr. Summers, one remembers, [or perhaps not] is the individual whose premise was that women are stupid, or at least, stupider than men, claiming that, "women are inferior to men in their ability to excel at math and science." One can only imagine that clamour that would have arisen had the infamous "Bell Curve" authors Herrnstein and Murray been appointed to serve, THEIR premise being that people of color can't help being stupid, they're just born that way.

And so it goes. A flicker of hope, coming, of all places, from the NY Times, proving that indeed, Redemption exists. Talk about putting all of one's eggs in one basket! Like it or not, the G-20 summit convenes officially today in London, England, where Ms. Usurper has already appeared to greet PM Brown in yet ANOTHER tiresome, classless version of the Ugly, Sleeveless Suit, Mr. Usurper hurled yet another cheap insult, this time at the Queen, by bestowing upon her an iPod of all things--and the Summit hasn't even started yet. As if it weren't enough to have tossed the Prime Minister of Great Britain a bunch of cheap, silly American DVDs that aren't even formatted for a British player, The Useless Ones continue to spew their trail of carnage behind them as they cart with them nearly an entire White House staff replete with food, water, and cooks; bazillions of dollars worth of fancy cars, helicopters, gasoline and support staff of over 500, [200 Security troops], and most probably a solid car load of sleeveless wear for every occasion. But, despite the devil-may-care, halcyon days-style partying of these two, these are serious times. The world economy has collapsed, Russia and China are calling for a new currency to supplant the Dollar, there will be no pork products served at the Summit [although one wonders why not, if all attendees are bringing and cooking their own food], and the Infidels of the World [read: ANYone NOT Muslim, who, by the way, already own a significant amount of Citibank and have thus already been kicked back a few dollars from the first bailout--[what WOULD they ever do without the indentured American tax payer??] are meeting to make agreements with Muslim leaders whose very Sharia law not only encourages them to, but DEMANDS that they break any contract made with an Infidel within 7 years. So...what's wrong with this picture, you ask? I mean, aside from the fact that none of this, with the exception of the appearance of another ugly sleeveless garment and some tasteless gifts to heads of state, are being reported in main stream media? Aside from the obscene amount of American taxpayers' money being siphoned off to pay for this ridiculous trip? At this rate, it starts to make Nancy's Special, Extra Expensive plane rides and the daily Kobe beef chow downs look frugal. One can hardly wait to learn the outcome of all this fuss and fanfare, aside from the obvious fact that the emperor has no clothes...not now, not ever.

Gee. Which one would any sane person think should pass? Which one DID pass? If you are aware that the mandatory service/Hitler Youth bill was the one that passed, you are following the perfidy of Congress very well these days. As for HR 450: Nancy Pelosi, ever true to her tawdry image, scuttled it by sending it off to the Judiciary Committee for an unspecified amount of time...in other words--she killed it. We should all call our Reps and let them know they MUST petition for it to be passed, if indeed any of them listens these days. For all intents and purposes, however, it appears that they do not, as I have not recently heard of any satisfactory response to a constituent from any government official or politician. Given that, against the approval of 99% of the American people, they passed both the Bailout bill and the Slave bill, it is not prudent to think that petitioning them on such a small matter as adherence to the Constitution would give them any cause to respond other than send inane form letters and do what they please.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ‘Enumerated Powers Act’.
SEC. 2. SPECIFICATION OF CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY FOR ENACTMENT OF LAW.

(a) Constitutional Authority for This Act- This Act is enacted pursuant to the power granted Congress under article I, section 8, clause 18, of the United States Constitution and the power granted to each House of Congress under article I, section 5, clause 2, of the United States Constitution.
(b) Constitutional Authority Statement Required- Chapter 2 of title 1, United States Code, is amended by inserting after section 102 the following new section:
‘Sec. 102a. Constitutional authority clause
‘Each Act of Congress shall contain a concise and definite statement of the constitutional authority relied upon for the enactment of each portion of that Act. The failure to comply with this section shall give rise to a point of order in either House of Congress. The availability of this point of order does not affect any other available relief.’
(c) Clerical Amendment- The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 2 of title 1, United States Code, is amended by inserting after the item relating to section 102 the following new item:
‘102a. Constitutional authority clause.’

Well, that about says it all as far as Congress goes. The ONE bill that MIGHT have shed a ray of hope into our hearts has been scuttled by Nancy Pelosi. God forbid Congress should have to be accountable to the point that they adhere to the Constitution when they introduce and pass bills. The warmth of the Spring sun toasts the patio stones to the temperature of a hot rocks massage, and I am blessed this day to be able to watch an old dog snooze on their warmth as I watch a puppy cavort in the grass. Yes, life goes on-- amidst war and worry, terror and trial, here and abroad, we must all remember to savor these small spaces in time where life goes on as usual, and rejoice in the gifts it brings as we make ready our plans to speak out against that which threatens to bring us down. A great many thanks to the Usual Suspects--those bright bastions of light amidst the dark who grace and embrace us with fact, sort it from MSM fiction, and give us the kind of REAL hope that springs eternal in the hearts and minds of Americans near and far. Worldnet Daily, who reports Bob Basso's summons to the White House after his hugely successful, oft viewed Youtube "Thomas Paine" video came into their sights; who maintains an updated Tea Party site; Maggie's Notebook and Texas Darlin' , who have been diligent in reporting government surveillance on Bob Basso and Stephen Pidgeon, [our very own "Constitutional Radio's" guest this Tuesday, March 31 at 10:00 PM!] and others who dare to speak out, and of course, first, last and always, our inimitable Logistics Monster, who not only reports the truth the few knew, but also those who watch her, in the hope for a more transparent society all around! Cape Coral's event portended a turn out of more than 500 people and thus, authorities prevailed upon Lynn Rosko to obtain permit and insurance. But, we continue to forge ahead on our path of patriotism, to educate others and to make ourselves heard, and we must salute not only our troops and patriotic leaders, but, too, the thin ranks of main stream media who have the courage and conviction to speak out about that which is wrong: Michelle Malkin, Glenn Beck's 912 Project, Gretawire...you know who you are--and a great big hat tip to you all! A.C.O.R.N. BEHIND PROTESTS AT AIG HOMES - Under S.E.I.U. RENT-A- MOB CONTRACTA Glenn Beck interview with an election attorney has exposed the fact that the SEIU (Service Employees INTERNATIONAL Union) contracted the angry mob which intimidated AIG employees at their own homes this past week. According to this report, the "Muscle for Money" program, revealed by a former A.C.O.R.N.employee at hearings held last October, involves formal work contracts between the SEIU & A.C.O.R.N. in which poor persons are paid to make targeted, aggressive protests, which are then covered by the Main Stream Media with the appearance of spontaneous events led by "everyday citizens."

Beck followed up on the mobs which terrorized AIG executives homes when he noticed the protesters were arriving in organized buses, which were rented by A.C.O.R.N. Referencing A.C.O.R.N.'s shady history, the reporter referred back to A.C.O.R.N.'s arrangements of voting booths in Nevada casinos as their instrument for assuring Obama's "win" of last year's Primary caucus in the state. A.C.O.R.N is also being investigated on criminal vote fraud
in several other states for related misconduct. The "bus tour" attack on AIG families was, specifically, arranged by Conneticut's Working Families Party as one of A.C.O.R.N. & S.E.I.U.'s many public faces. Cleta Mitchell, an attorney who has followed the underlying connections of these groups explained that the S.E.I.U. has spent tens of millions of dollars on all kinds of organizations over the last five years. Federally funded in part, and also supported by George Soros, one of A.C.O.R.N.'s multifold "campaigns" for change includes the legalization of drugs in the U.S. As Beck noted, former A.C.O.R.N. employees repulsed by the organization's methods and associations have contributed to exposing their tactics but avoid public statements. One such witness invited on air declined, expressing fear for her two year old daughter's safety.

Codename: Violation of the 13th Amendment, which states:

[Proposed 1865; Ratified 1865]Section. 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
Section. 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

Clearly, even to those would would prefer to think otherwise, this abomination of a bill is not only unconstitutional, but the fact that The Powers That Be have attempted to bury it beneath layers of renamed clutter and a plethora of amendments, stands as testimony to the intent to deceive the public and abrogate the Constitution yet once more. While it has not yet passed in the Senate, a motion for cloture was passed, to stop debate and filibustering. So Much Outrage...So Little Time

Where does one begin?! Spring has sprung, albeit without must *hope*, and each day brings a new affront...or three, or five, or eight.
As is so often the case, my reading day is filled with a goodly mixture of shock and awe--shock at the latest outrages perpetrated by the powers that are, contrary to the belief of so many as yet unenlightened Americans, so closely and deeply linked as to be terrifying, and AWE at the plethora of brilliant commentary and reporting I see daily, trekking obdurately and implacably across the vast trails of cyberspace, doing their vital job in service to America and its Constitution.
"Why the sad face, Liberty?" you ask. Well, our Lady has finally seen the worst of it: arriving in New York harbor in 1886 as a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States signifying universal symbol of freedom and democracy, our "Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World" has been forced to stand witness to many atrocities, including the horrors of 911, but it was not until this past week that she faced the total [and perhaps] destruction of our dignity in the eyes of France and the World, perpetrated by The Usurper, when he dashed off his letter to Jacques Chirac, former President of France, expressing pleasure about the two would be working together in the next four years. Since it is absurd to assume that even THIS moronic fool of a puppet [or at the very LEAST one of his minions] would be so ignorant as to mistake a past president for a sitting one, one then must conclude that, indeed, the *gaffe* was not a gaffe at all, but rather, yet another an intended perpetration of rude hubris, designed with a specific purpose: that of alienating and antagonizing three of our greatest allies: Britain, Israel and now France. I will not give any more space to the vile affronts heaped upon Britain on Prime Minister Brown's most recent visit here, save refer to the truthisgold post some days past, but surely it cannot be mistaken that the Usurper's decision to give free plane tickets, living space and some $20 million dollars to relocating Hamas Palestinians cannot have engendered Israel's appreciation toward the U.S., and the Chirac letter--well, do the words, "over the top" ring a bell here?

I can think of no better way to express my conclusions from this triumvirate of terrors than to the words of Lame Cherry, wherein she states,

"These actions are deliberate by Mr. Obama to break the western alliance and supplant it with the central Europeans who started Obama's original Marxist dogma which he laps upon. This is why I'm not...amused at...Obama's [apparent cluelessness], but [rather, distressed] at Obama ['s] being deliberate. It is going to have horrendous terms for America and the rest of the world."

One way to explain this horrific series of events is that, as many of us have long been asserting, [with documentation to substantiate] Timothy Geitner [and for the most part, the entire administration], is indeed tied into, up to his sorry neck, all manner of nefarious history, suspect individuals and anti American entities, which in his case includes the Ford Foundation, Stanley Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro, World Bank, Council on Foreign Relations, and The Group of 30, a self proclaimed "consultative group on international economic and monetairy affairs" among whose major contributors are AIG, Arab Bank, Sullivan & Cromwell, Soros Fund Management, Peoples' Bank of China, Goldman Sachs, Federal Reserve Bank of NY, Bank of NY, Lehman, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Citi, Barclays, Arab Fund for Economic & Social Development, Dubai Financial Services Authority,Central Bank of Chile, Banco Mexico and Banco I'Italia...among others.

Honor and Courage and Character are beacons in the darkness; they draw all manner of people toward their light. Most people want to be good, to be brave, to be useful. They just need to be shown the way sometimes. And the only way to create such beacons to light our path is to commit to becoming one yourself...Courage, character, honor – all the virtues – are derived and strengthened from interactions with the virtuous. Where though, today, can one go to find a community that values such things, whose cohesiveness is formed not from the same political party, skin color...or any of the rest, but rather solely by a determination to improve one’s own self and in doing so improving the common welfare?
Throughout history, civilizations rise and fall. They fall for the same reason, by my reading of history: the lack of will to defend her, a cancer which starts not from the bottom but invariably from the top... If you feel you see it happening now, before your very eyes, well… you are not alone. A society unwilling to enforce the laws that civilize it, that is unable or unwilling to see the advantages of civilization, a society led by the pampered, the narcissistic and the corrupt, is not long for this Earth. Our enemies look at us and see precisely these symptoms, and the symptons are worsening. Our unwillingness to retaliate when retaliation is called for – indeed, the uneasiness with the very idea of retaliation against betrayal – has them licking their lips in anticipation. They see all this decay and they are right to see it, for it is there.One thing they do not see, however – also there. They do not see the Remnant. They do not see the power and resilience of what the irreplaceable Victor Davis Hanson has referred to as “the Old Breed.” But there is something different... this time around. Because today, for the first time in human history, common people can communicate directly with one another. We are no longer dependent on spineless politicians and the jaded masters of the press to color our opinions of the world. For the first time in human history, the Remnant can reach out to each other on these gossamer threads of a world-wide web.I believe – utterly – that this ability for the common person to communicate with other common people, this internet, will allow us to end-run the cycle of civilization. I believe it in my bones.My friends, Western Civilization is not on its last legs. Western Civilization is going to the stars. Count on it.
